I design and build scalable applications with a focus on clarity, performance, and impact.
Over 14 years of experience architecting, designing, and developing scalable systems software, I have successfully released products used by hundreds of millions of users, generating millions in revenue. My background combines deep technical expertise with mentoring teams, driving company growth, and fostering engineering excellence throughout the development lifecycle.
Scalable systems and applications with a focus on reliability and performance.
Focus on quarterly planning and long-term vision.
Growing teams, setting technical direction, and delivering impact.
• Engineering leader for the Shrink Prevention Org, responsible for building products using Computer Vision and AI models to assess, capture, and deter shrink (theft) across the stores, serving over tens of millions of customers daily, handling over a billion events per day and saving $365 millions dollars in theft for FY25.
• Led teams of software engineers in developing AI/ML workflows, optimizing AI models, libraries, and applications for deployment in both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Partnered and developed a strategic vision for the org. Led, conceived, and executed the strategic, technical, and tactical vision for a scalable, reliable, maintainable, and deterministic platform and ecosystem.
• Collaborated with engineering and product leadership, executive leadership, and other cross-functional stakeholders across business units to realize and develop engineering and product roadmaps.
• Scaled and evolved the org. Influenced, established, and improved engineering hygiene, processes, operational excellence, and overall effectiveness of the engineering teams.
• Led, managed, and provided people, tactical, technical, and strategic leadership to engineering teams spread across multiple geographic regions.
• Successfully directed and executed the engineering and product roadmaps and key cross-functional engineering initiatives. Worked with stakeholders, product owners, other engineering teams, business partners, and executive leadership to drive and deliver on the engineering vision.
• Oversaw the billing platform and its ecosystem of products serving over tens of millions of customers daily and handling over a billion API calls per day. Provided hands-on technical leadership and guidance including architecture, design, and code reviews.
• Significantly improved software engineering practices and processes, product architecture, operational excellence, and overall effectiveness of the engineering teams.
